Institute of Behavioral Psychology

The Institute of Behavioral Psychology started with a simple idea coupled with immense zeal and enthusiasm.

Our purpose is to impact all areas that play a role in children’s development; academic, vocational, psychological, physical and social, with special emphasis on children with special needs, slow learners, as well as children with learning and behavior problems.

We also strive to develop relevant skills in teachers, parents, care givers and other adults working with children through providing knowledge and training.

The Last 30 years have been a time of tremendous growth and learning, not only for us as an organization, but also for the field of Psychology as a whole. New Research has now made it possible to integrate more & more people who were originally sidelined to the margins, into mainstream settings.

Exciting discoveries in brain plasticity and development have changed the way we look at human potential and abilities.

Innovations in teaching methodologies mean that more children with learning problems have a chance to achieve success and live up to their potential.

And so, it is with even greater zeal and passion that we look forward to the next 30 years of achievement and growth for IBP.

A country's greatest natural resource is the minds of its children. IBP was envisioned, conceived and formulated in order to recognize, develop and nurture each child's potentials, talents and abilities. In our journey of the last thirty years, we have seen a remarkable difference in society's attitude towards its most vulnerable population, i.e. its special needs children. There is now more acceptance than ever before. Special needs children are no longer being side lined as they were before, and more resources and opportunities are now available to them. However, our work is far from over. As more special needs children are accepted into main stream schools, as more and more people become aware of learning disabilities like dyslexia and dyscalculia, as more children are identified with ADD or ADHD, as more children are diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum Disorder, our challenge to help them achieve their best becomes even more important.

This is IBP's mission. To help every child, youth and adult to develop his full potential. To empower every individual working with our precious children with the knowledge and skills to bring out their best, and to ensure that in the race of life, all our children reach the victory stand.
